After the official approval of LAMC in 2015 as a biannual MTT-S conference, there were several strategic activities developed in Region 9, such as the creation of new MTT-S chapters and the organization of several DML visits. Those activities were key to the successful organization of this conference. The first edition of LAMC took place in December 12-14, 2016, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with a great success.
