J.The TC-2 Design Automation Committee (originally established as MTT-1 CAD in 1968 by William J. Getsinger) focuses on advancing methods, software, and technologies for the modeling, simulation, and design optimization of high-frequency circuits and systems. Spanning frequencies from RF to Terahertz, engineering innovation strongly depends on cutting-edge modeling techniques and design automation tools. These must accommodate emerging mathematical representations, design methodologies, advanced manufacturing processes, and novel materials to meet the demands of modern applications. This article biefly reports the main TC-2 activities from October 2022 to November 2024.Ítem Acceso Abierto An Overview on the Fifth IEEE MTT-S Latin America Microwave Conference (LAMC-2025)(IEEE, 2024-12-01) Rodríguez-Solís, Rafael A.; Murphy-Arteaga, Roberto S.; Rayas-Sánchez, José E.The fifth edition of the IEEE MTT-S Latin America Microwave Conference (LAMC-2025) will be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, during January 22 to 24, 2025. LAMC is a biennial conference that moves around to different locations in Latin America. It is technically and financially sponsored by IEEE MTT-S and it has consolidated itself as the flagship regional conference on RF and microwave engineering. After four successful editions in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (2016) [ ], Arequipa, Peru (2018) [ ], Cali, Colombia (2021, virtual), and San José, Costa Rica (2023) [ ], LAMC now goes to the beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico, near the historic district of Old San Juan, a picturesque touristic area on the northeastern coast of Puerto Rico Island, rich in culture, tradition, and history.
