dc.descriptionNowadays students tend to forget about memory usage and disposal, as our computer systems get more and more memory as a standard, the concern about how much memory a program uses become more of a second thought, it is not the priority. When we take that mi ndset to embedded systems or performance applications it can get a little bit challenging for someone to suddenly take care of these fine details, which can lead to memory leaks or over allocation of memory, making the application’s performance go down. For this, an application can be used to help the students understand all of this while programming for other signatures like data structures or algorithms, in any case, a library can be implemented to provide this feature without affecting the user’s programs or development environment, but getting enough information to pinpoint a memory issue.This work shows the resulting library containing all this functionality in a very simple solution, intended for students and professors so they can visualize the dynamic memory allocations made by a program just by including the library in their projects. This solution is expected to increase the student’s awareness about the possible issues that may happen if the memory management portion of their programs is missing.es
