Resumen

The purpose of this work is to showcase how state-of-the-art technology can be effectively utilized to benefit the manufacturing industry, demonstrating its positive reception to implementing innovative solutions and technology. The industrial landscape is constantly evolving, with organizations striving to stay ahead of the competition by leveraging the latest technological advancements and knowledge. Over the past 5 to 10 years, there has been a noticeable increase in the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI), although the term is often overused and misapplied. Despite this, technology adoption continues to rise within the industry.

Key performance indicators (KPI) in the manufacturing sector have either remained constant or experienced growth as part of efforts to break the existing status quo and boost organizational productivity. While continuous improvement tools and methodologies offer a path to progress, they also present ongoing challenges for many organizations. Improving productivity levels ultimately serves organizations' core purpose by delivering value to customers, shareholders, and employees.

Technology integration cannot be viewed as an isolated effort; it requires the presence of a well-defined structure and framework to resolve problems within the organization. While technology facilitates the faster and more efficient creation of data, the challenge lies in effectively leveraging this data, as it often mirrors pre-existing information that has yet to be fully utilized by the organization. Furthermore, using images within organizations introduces the risk of information loss and mandates compliance with GDPR guidelines.

This example illustrates how the use of existing information with cutting-edge technology can yield remarkable outcomes that are shareable and applicable to other organizations. While some of the tools showcased have been known in the industry for several years, the accelerated utilization of information provides a significant competitive advantage. Additionally, the financial implications and skills acquired contribute substantially to the organization's competitive edge.
