Resumen
Descripción
Surrogate-based optimization of a microstrip-to-substrate integrated waveguide transition is presented. The high-fidelity (or fine) model has a substrate integrated waveguide section and an equivalent rectangular waveguide feed at the waveguide port of the transition. The geometry of the transition is optimized using a coarse-discretization electromagnetic model and design specifications adaptation. An improved design is obtained after a few evaluations of a high-fidelity model.
